Barbara Daigle Obituary
She is survived by her son, C. Bradford Calloway of Exton, PA. She was born in Granby, CT the daughter of Edward T. and Mabel J. (Mollison) Breslin and graduated from Shrewsbury High School in 1943 where she won the Massachusetts State History Award. Mrs. Daigle retired from Kiddie Kastle as a buyer and salesperson. Previously, she worked as a children's ware buyer at Ware Pratt Co. and managed The Shavers & Muffets Children's Store. She was a member of All Saint's Episcopal Church in Worcester.
Funeral Services and Burial will be private. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 5005 LBJ Fwy., Ste 250, Dallas, TX 75244 or komen.org. Arrangements are under the care of Callahan & Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. Dear Brad, We are very sorry for the loss of your mother. You may not remember us but our mother, Mary "Tweeta" Menanson, and your mother, Bette, were great friends for many years and we remember visiting her at your house. She was a very gracious lady and we remember her fondly. Our mother and yours corresponded for many years before our mother's death in 2007. You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.
