Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Jeff and I go back to our early teens and had a great time together for many years. We used to walk the streets late at night just talking, joking and Jeff would always call me the big guy. Playing ball together on the same Little League team, the best two pitcher tandem around, Jeff was 6 wins and no losses as a pitcher and I was 5 wins and 1 loss and Jeff beat me out for the most homeruns that season on the PNA team, Jeff hit a homerun on the last game of the season to beat me out by 1 homerun, Jeff had 7 and I hit 6 homeruns as a twleve year old. Later on in life I had seen Jeff after not seeing him for about 10 years and it was the same closeness, like we always called each other brothers because there was a special bond with Jeff who I will miss greatly. Jeff will always be in my heart, I can't believe the thought of not physically high fiving Jeff anymore. It did not matter how many years apart that we didn't see each other, but when we did it was always a hug that we gave each other, Jeff would always show his true feelings for his close friend in myself. Jeff was a brother to me, I am sorry it came to this and my condolences to his family, Mr and Mrs, Lisa and Lynn.
