Fede M. "Faith" Baldino

Fede M. "Faith" (Cornacchioli) Baldino, 89, of Worcester died peacefully Sunday September 21, 2008 in the Life Care Center Of Auburn surrounded by her family. She is survived by her loving family: her husband of 66 years, Carlo A. Baldino; two sons, Carlo M.Baldino and his wife Joyce McNickles of Sutton, and William P. Baldino and his wife Maureen of Auburn; two grandsons, Michael Baldino of Boston and Anthony Baldino of Hollywood, CA; and many nephews, nieces, and great nephews and great nieces. Faith was predeceased by three brothers, Fred, Bruno, and Frank Cornacchioli, and two sisters, Edith Sammataro and Alba Rana.

Faith was born in Worcester daughter of the late Francesco and Angelina (Sardi) Cornacchioli and lived here all her life. She was a graduate of David Hale Fanning Girls Trade School. Faith worked as an inspector at the Norton Company for many years before she retired. She was a long time member of St Margaret Mary Church. She loved being with her family and friends and enjoyed a good day at the casino. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. The family would like to thank the entire staff, and a special thanks to the nurses and CNAs at the Life Care Center of Auburn for their kindness and compassion.

Faith's funeral will be held Thursday from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 AM in St Joseph Church, 189 Oxford St., Auburn, Calling hours in the funeral home are from 5-8 PM on Wednesday. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA. 01707.
