Madeline Huard Obituary

Madeline E. (LaRue) Huard, 76, of 11 Longview Dr., died Sunday at her home.

Her husband of 50 years, Paul L. Huard, died in 2004. She leaves her son, Paul LaRue Huard and his wife Judith of Spencer; a step granddaughter, Kirstin Kupfer of Spencer and a step grandson, David Kupfer of Worcester; her aunt, Beatrice Scully of Spencer; and a devoted friend, Mary Eilleen Halvey of Auburn.

Madeline graduated from David Prouty High School and later from hairdressing school becoming a hairdresser for 43 years and owner of Bernie's Hair Top Stylist in Auburn before her retirement in 1994. Born in Ware, she was the daughter of Leo J. and Amanda (Paul) LaRue and lived here all of her life.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 10 a.m. in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Rte. 9 in Spencer. There are no calling hours. Please omit flowers, contributions may be made to UMASS Memorial Hospice, 650 Lincoln St., Worcester, 01605. J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., is directing arrangements.
