Lucille Shack Obituary

Lucille G. (Gentile) Shack, 85, died at the Jewish Healthcare Center on Sunday, September 21st after a long struggle with Alzheimer's.

She was the devoted wife of 43 years of Albert Shack who died in 1997. She leaves her daughter Janet, wife of Norman Sussman of Southborough; a sister, Janet Turturo of Alpharetta, GA, formerly of Shrewsbury and her grandchildren, Jordanna and Drew Sussman.

She was born in Worcester and was a daughter of Carlo and Constance Gentile.

She was an avid golfer and card player. She was active in the Friends of the Retarded and Temple Sinai Sisterhood. Lucy will be remembered for her loving ways and sincere kindness.

A funeral service will be private. Burial will be private in B'Nai Brith Cemetery. Memorial Observance will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Jewish Healthcare Center, 629 Salisbury St., Worcester 01609.

Perlman Funeral Home is directing funeral arrangements.

Janet, My sincere condolences on the death of your dear Mother. I remember your mother fondly, and you, of course, when you would come over to Audrey & Philip Shack's house when I babysat for Jill, Lanie and Wendy.
