Ann Miller Obituary

Ann E. (Healey) Miller, 52, of Auburn, passed away Thursday in the UMass Memorial Medical Center, 119 Belmont Street, Worcester, after an illness.

She is survived by her husband Glenn E. Miller, and their three children; Christopher, Kelly and Kimberly Miller, all of Auburn. She also leaves her mother Ann E. (Black) Healey, and two sisters; Mary Liz Jenkins of Dudley, and Debra Hazzard of Southbridge.

She was born in Worcester, and raised and educated in Auburn. She is a graduate of Auburn High School and Worcester State College.

She worked for 13 years as an English and reading teacher for the town of Shrewsbury. She also worked for 7 years as a substitute teacher and ESL tutor for the town of Auburn.

She was a loving mother and wife. She was also a great listener and would always be willing to talk. She always had a good sense of humor. She loved vacationing with her family to Cape Cod and Hampton Beach. Her life was filled with the tunes of Jimmy Buffett.

As a teacher, she touched and influenced the lives of all of her students. She loved seeing her former students and hearing of their accomplishments.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Monday from 4-7 PM in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn. Her funeral will be held Tuesday with a Mass celebrated at 10 AM in North American Martyrs Church, 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.

The family asks that donations be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 5005 LBJ Fwy., Suite. 250, Dallas, TX 75244 or to American Cancer Society 350 Plantation St. Worcester, MA 01604.
