Dorothy Lavoie Obituary

Dorothy V. (Field) Lavoie, 73, of 1 Englewood Ave., died Sunday, Sept. 28 in her home after an illness. Her longtime companion H. David Bonardi died in 2007. She leaves a daughter Susan M. Case and her husband Donald of Worcester, three grandchildren Donald Case and his wife Sandra, Jason & Matthew Case, four great-grandchildren Dillon, Zackary, Courtney & Jason, a sister Barbara Zamoita and her husband Richard of Cherry Valley ,several nieces and nephews and the Bonardi Family. Dorothy was born in Falmouth daughter of Frank and Marion (Reynolds) Field. She was a special deposit teller at Shawmut Bank in Worcester retiring in 1993. She enjoyed Keno, going to Foxwoods, Mohegan Sun and Traveling. She loved to dance and spend time with her family.

The funeral will be held Wednesday, Oct. 1 from MORIN-MORRISON FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester with a Mass at 11:00 AM in St. Pius X Church, 1154 Main Street, Leicester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Tuesday from 5:00-7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to UMass Memorial Home Health & Hospice, 650 Lincoln Street, Worcester, MA 01605.

I'm so sorry to hear that Dottie has
passed on. I have know Dottie since was very young.We hung around together for along time.
My heart and prayers go out to her family and loved ones. may she rest in peace.

Susan and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Dorothy was a great woman. She was very good to Zackary and I. She always greeted me with a hug and a smile and welcomed me at anytime. My heart goes out to you and your family. She will be greatly missed. May she rest in peace.
