I grew up in Webster and George gave me my first job when I was about to go to college , painting for Chauvin & sons. I can remember the Sacred Heart job doing the gold leaf with George Sr. doing his favorite marbelling.. I always admired George for his kind patience in helping some of young guys get started. My sincerest sympathy. I will keep him in my prayers. He was a great guy.

Dear Mrs. Chauvin,
I will always remember your husband in a very special way.He actually created my first engagement ring from Leon. It still is a very sentimental part of our lives. George took a curtain ring and added a screw to look like a diamond and than put it in the prettiest box I had ever seen, this memory will stay with me always.
The family is in our thoughts and prayers.
