David Pulsifer Obituary

David T. Pulsifer, 77, of Northborough died Thursday, October 30, 2008 at Marlborough Hills Health Care in Marlborough following a short illness.

David is survived by his two sisters, Ann Mallinson of Templeton and Jane Klasmeier and her husband, Jerry, of Crownsville, MD; as well as nieces and nephews. Born in Manchester, MA he was the son of the late Walter T. and Josephine H. (Howes) Pulsifer. David has been a longtime resident of Northborough.

David worked as a shipping clerk for Unican Plastics for 18 years before retiring in 1984. In 1975 he worked as a CB'er in connection with Special Teams on Patrol and for the Town of Northborough Police Departments as a civilian for the Stop Program. An avid CB'er for 30 years he was a member of the Northborough and Assabet Valley CB Clubs. For 46 years David played the organ for many churches including Cornish Maine Congregational Church and the Congregational Church in West Boylston. He was Assistant Organist for the Trinity Episcopal Church in Connecticut from 1954-1982. David also filled in as organist for the Church of the Nativity in Northborough, where he was also a member. He was also an avid Red Sox Fan.

A graveside service will be held Monday, November 3, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in Howard Street Cemetery (50 Howard Street) Northborough. There are no calling hours. Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main Street, Northborough is assisting the family with arrangements.
