Helen Giza Obituary

Helen K. (Dabrowski) Giza, 93, of Crescent St., died Wednesday, November 5, 2008 in Quaboag on the Common in West Brookfield.

She leaves two sons, Walter Giza and his wife Janet of Sturbridge and Robert Giza and his wife Sandra of Warren; five grandchildren, Grant, Maxine, Jacqueline, Amanda and Andrew and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Walter E. Giza in 1980 and two siblings, Peter and Lena Dabrowski. She was born and grew up in West Warren, daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Smola) Dabrowski and lived there until moving to Warren in 1954.

She was a member of St. Stanislaus Church in West Warren.

A Funeral Mass for Helen will be held Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 10:30 AM in St. Stanislaus Church in West Warren. A calling hour will be held prior to the Mass from 9 to 10 AM in the Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., West Brookfield. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery in Warren. Flowers may be sent or memorial donations made in her memory to a charity of the donors choice.
