Charles Smith Obituary
He leaves his wife of 42 years, Philomena A. (Scappaticci) Smith; his brother-in-law, Benjamin Scappaticci and his wife, Nancy, of Holden; his sisters-in-law, Mary Hatstat of Rutland, Tina Russo and her husband, Ralph, of Worcester and Michelina Brouillette and her husband, Donald, of Harwich; nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand nephews.
He was born in Philadelphia, PA the son of Walter and Ruth (Starr) Smith and moved here in 1966. He was an Air Force veteran of Vietnam War and a former member of American Legion Post #444. Mr. Smith worked as a clerk at the United States Post Office in Worcester for 19 years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
Funeral Services were held privately in CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street. Interment was in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Memorials in his name to Alzheimer's Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, 02472.
