Karen Johnson Obituary

Karen K. (Kenerson) Johnson, 60, of 76 Ridge Road, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 after an illness.

She leaves her husband of 41 years, William L. Johnson, Sr.; a son, William L. Johnson, Jr. of Andover; two daughters, Leigh K. Johnson with whom she lived, and Kristin L. Johnson of Alexandria, Virginia; her mother, Laura (Smiley) Kenerson Henderson of Brookfield; two brothers, Philip (Chipper) Henderson, Jr. of Oakham and David Henderson of Brookfield; two sisters, Marcia Clark of Lewiston, Maine and JoAnn Varnum of Brookfield; two grandchildren, Porter and Alexandra Johnson; and many nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by her father, Lester V. Kenerson; a brother, Oliver Kenerson; and her step-father, Philip Henderson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a remembrance gathering from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, November 16th in the Princeton Community Center, 18 Boylston Ave., Princeton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VNA Care Hospice, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, MA 01608. Memorial arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden.
