We former W/S employees remember Marty fondly. I recall one meeting in particular (around 1984) at the Carnegie building on the fifth floor which he conducted with the sales department to review the increase in the number of machines that GE Albuquerque New Mexico wanted to buy on a sizeable order of '3SCs' to machine titanium jet engine components. The machine had to run at a lower RPM to machine a large diameter arrangement of turbine rings mounted on a faceplate (bigger than 24 inches). I recall that he openly asked for input from those of us there regarding the shipping schedule and other issues.
Please accept our condolences.

To his children,
Your dad was very influential in my career and mentored me when I needed guidance. I will never forget the impact he had on my professional career. He was a very special guy.
With my deepest sympathy,
