Rita Lapierre Obituary
She is survived by a son, William B. Lapierre of Cherry Hill, NJ; a daughter, Marie A. Orrell of Monroe, CT; a granddaughter, Rachel M. Lapierre of Philadelphia, PA and nephews and nieces. Mrs. Lapierre was born in Webster, MA daughter of the late Oliver and Ida (Forand) Billings.
Rita worked for Chevalier Furniture Company in Worcester as a secretary, retiring in 1982 and previously worked for the Waterhouse Company in Webster. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Worcester.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 11, from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St., Worcester, with a mass at 10:30 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 600 Cambridge Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. A calling hour will be held from 9 to 10 AM in the funeral home, before the funeral. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
