Leon Burbo Obituary

Leon Fredrick Burbo, 48, died Thursday, November 6, in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center.

He leaves his wife, Laurie (Kiefer) Burbo; two sons, Bryan and William Burbo; two daughters, Nina Giangregorio and her husband Michael, and Nicole Burbo; three brothers, John Burbo, Alan McKinney and Randy Burbo; six sisters, Lorna Liberty, Ruth Rivard, Mildred Courtney, Jean Ortiz, Bonnie Burbo and Debra Burbo; a granddaughter, Isabel Giangregorio; and many nephews and nieces.

Mr. Burbo was born in Worcester, a son of Levi Burbo and Ruth (Daigneault) Burbo McKinney and has lived here all his life. He was a self employed carpenter. He loved being a "Pepe" to Isabel.

The private funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St. is directing arrangements.

We are so very sorry for your lost of Leon. Last time I saw him about a month ago I gave him a ride to the YMCA and he talked about how much he loved you all.

There are so many of us cousins left and we need to find away to get together as a family under different circumstances.

Your the best, I guess its true what they say "only the good die young."

Uncle Leon,

It was so wonderful to see the twinkle in your eye when you spoke of Isabelle. It was the same twinkle I remember throughout my childhood. Your laugh and enthusiasm were infectious and what I will rememeber always.

Uncle,
You will be so deeply missed! I know ur in a better place and u'll be with mama and pepe but it doesn't make it any easier for us who lost u. I will never forget u!
