Born in Brooklyn, NY on March 26, 1917 he was a long term resident of Monticello, NY, and owned and operated Gusar's Pharmacy in Monticello for many years.

George, as well as Rachel, were wonderful friends to my parents. He was so kind to make an effort to keep in touch with my Mom after my Dad died. Working as a stock clerk at Gusar's Pharmacy brings back warm memories of my years growing up in Monticello. My condolences to Mike and Danny.

George was a lovely, kind and gentle man. I feel lucky to have known him. He shared meals at Whitney Place with my mother Betty Gray. Our deepest sympathy to his family.
