Paula and Mary Jane and Joe's sons: I am so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I am Mark Murray, I lived next door on Uncatena Ave. Even though Joe was a couple of years older than the rest of us kids on the street, he was always kind to us and would join us playing catch with a baseball or tossing a football. I remember one time one of us hit a high fly ball with a hard ball. Joe caught it with his bare hands. We were all amazed. To this day, when I watch a ball game on TV and see a high fly ball bounce off a fan in the stands I whisper to myself "Joe Gigliotti would have caught that!" I hope God eases your pain in his absence. Mark

Sorry about your loss, I never knew his name but I always remebered his face. He was my bus driver when I attended South High Community School. He was a quiet man who had a good heart. "May the special things about your loved one live on inside your heart forever."

Hi Sandy and family,

I express my sympathies in your loss. I always had great conversations with Joe when I was a priest at St. Joseph's. He told some funny stories all the time and kept us laughing with his sense of humor. My prayers are with you during this time of sorrow.

Very few people come into our lives that stay true to themselves. Uncle Guiseppi was one of them. If you met him only once on the city bus you would understand how he found it easy to find humor in the simple things in life. I have so many great memories of him, that I will keep close to my heart. I can only hope that I age as well as he did, and it hurts me that his life was ended too soon. Although I have faith that he is in a better place then we can imagine, I will miss him dearly as my God Father and Uncle.
Love your Neice,
Kim
