John Bright Obituary

John R. Bright, 59, of Plainville, a native of Canton, died on Monday. He was the husband of Charlene M. (Bethel) Bright to whom he was married on October 27, 1978.

Born in Boston on October 8, 1949, he was a son of John Ames and Marjorie H. (Hare) Bright both of Canton. Raised and educated in Canton, Mr. Bright was a 1967 graduate of Canton High School and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston in 1972.

Mr. Bright was the founder and president of Digital Image Technologies in Plainville.

In addition to his wife of 30 years and his parents, he leaves two children: Catherine M. Bright of Brookline and Christopher M. Bright of Plainville; a sister: Carol L. Bright of Canton; his father-in-law: Robert B. Bethel of Uxbridge; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was the son-in-law of the late Charlotte M. (Suidam) Bethel. He was the brother of the late Eric R. Bright.

Visitation on Friday from 5:00 - 8:00 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right, 3/4 mile on the left), North Attleboro.

Funeral services and burial will be private.

Memorial donations in Mr. Bright's name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701. www.
