Dear Billy,
I miss you as much today as the day you passed. Maybe even more. We just had your 2 year anniversary mass and I can't believe it's been that long. It seems like yesterday. I went to a funeral today and what was said made perfect sense. The priest had said that we all live in a great big waiting room and God will call on us one of these days for our appointment. Billy, I just wanted you to know you are always on our minds and will always be with us forever in our waiting room.
Love you tons,
Moe

To all the Webber Family,
To say that I am sorry for your loss seems so simplistic. I had always thought that our children's father would always be there for them, and for his wife, parents, siblings, cousins and everyone who loves him. My heartache is for those who are left behind. I know he is there sending his love and comfort for all. And that he is well and happy and knows that those he loves will be with him in a wink of an eye. We are the only ones who track time on this earth. My love for all.....

To Billy's Family, I'm very sorry for your loss. I graduated from Bellingham High in 73, Billy and I worked and played hockey together at Son's Arena. We became friends, and along with his cousins the O'briens and Cullens and other Saint Mary grads had alot of good times together. I've read several articles today about Billy, I have not seen him in about 30 years, but the man that everyone is praising was the same when I knew him, a gentleman and a good friend. When we were all fumbling to find ourselves I knew he was a leader. The rink we worked at sponsored a Bruins night, some biggies were there, Espo, Bucyk, Mckenzie, Cheevers, after the event we were all hanging out in the locker room to smooze with the Bruins, I'll never forget what happened, one of the Bruins looked at Billy and told him to take his bags to the car, without hesitation Billy looked at him and said "what do I look like the porter", of course he was kidding and we all were glad to carry thier bags but it left us in stitches and I never forgot it. The Billy I knew in the 70's is definately worthy of all the praise I have read about today.
I pray that the Lord will give you all peace at this time and always.
God Bless You.

We are heart-broken at losing such a gentlemen of our extended family who exuded a sense of dignity as well as kindness and respect for others. Dear Kathleen, Mr. & Mrs. Webber & Family,
Billy was one of a kind. He never forgot where he came from and always welcomed his friends without condition.
I grew up in the old neighborhood and as a child we always looked forward to Halloween night at the Webbers.
Billy was and will always be one of my all-time hero’s. Back in the 90’s, we worked out together at the Gym. His dedication to fitness exampled his everyday lifestyle. It’s hard to believe he’s no Longer with us but I know his legacy will last forever. He was a classmate & friend of my cousin Ed Reis who died in an accident in 1979. Billy has never forgotten him and always communicated with my aunt Julie reassuring her of her loss. Now Billy will re-united with him to continue their lasting relationship.
Southboro has lost a Jewel and it won’t be easy to replace this rare Man of integrity.

To Kathy and the Webber/Carmody Families;
It is with heavy hearts that the current and former members of the Massachusetts State Police extend their deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences for the lost of Our Friend, Chief Billy Webber.
Billy was consummate law enforcement professional from the very beginning of his career. Amazingly, Billy never changed whether as a Patrolman or the Chief. Billy's focus was always on getting the job done and keeping his men safe.
Billy had his priorities set correctly. His Family was the JOY in his life. His Service to the Town of Southborough and Law Enforcement was the HONOR of his life.
With Billy's passing, some of the Joy has left our lives. In following Chief William H. Webber's example, we will be required to Stand Taller and Work Harder but always make decisions tempered with Compassion.
We were honored by his Friendship!
