Kathleen Richards Obituary

Kathleen S. (Hedkte) Richards, 50, of New Boston Rd., passed away in her home on Tuesday, Nov. 11th, after an illness.

She leaves her husband of 27 years, Neal H. Richards; her parents, Frederick and Sue (Kirschner) Hedkte of Preston, CT; two daughters, Kim M. Newsham and her husband, Paul of Paxton and Lisa A. Hartigan and her husband Tim of Worcester; a sister, Phyllis Harmon of Preston, CT; four grandchildren, Jacob Newsham, Zachary Newsham, Mathew Lucier and Brianna Lucier and a nephew, Eric Harmon of Preston, CT.  She was born in Milwaukee, WI.

Kathleen was a friend of Bill W.; she loved animals and enjoyed all kinds of outdoor activities. She enjoyed frequent trips to Disney World. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren.

Kathleen's funeral service and burial will be private. There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Make A Wish Foundation of Massachusetts, One Bulfinch Place, 2nd Floor, Boston, MA 02114.

The Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge is directing arrangements.
