Bob:
I am so sorry to have heard from you today about Claire. As I mentioned to you today, she was always very nice to me and it was a pleasure to have met the both of you. I only wish that our meeting could have occered much earlier in our lives so I could have known Claire like the others who have signed this guest book.
Please feel free to call on me anytime, for anything.

Uncle Bob, Phil, Susie, Deb,Karen, husbands and grandkids,
I am so sorry for your loss and I am thinking of you all tonight as you return to your homes. I have such wonderful memories of summer vacations in VA and of you all visiting us up here in Wosta. I am so glad Annette, my mom, and I were able to visit with Uncle Bob and Auntie Claire this past winter. We had such a good time and Annette really enjoyed getting to know her great Aunt and Pumpkin. I will always remember her generosity, warmth, and love towards my parents and my own family. I'm sorry I was not able to be with you all in Ohio but please know I am thinking of you with love and prayers.
Love to all Shelly

Susan. Our deepest sympathy on the loss of your mother. We have such fond memories of our trip with you and your parents to New Orleans. I think that is about the most time we got to spend with your mother - but you mentioned her so often that we feel like we knew her well. I know you will miss her especially when something comes up that you would like to ask her about something that happened in the past. We have been thinking of you often. Give us a call when you get home.

Dear Uncle Bob, Phil, Susie, Deb, Karen, spouses & grandchildren, We are so sorry for the loss of your wife, mother, and grandmother. Our prayers and thoughts are with you at this time we can not physically be there to try to help through this sorrowful time. I wish I could have been there to celebrate her full life and share memories. I have so many good ones of the Hehir family visiting us in Shrewsbury (bulkies from Water street required) and our visits to Falls Church and Vienna, VA (swimming at the club, my birthday at Shakey's pizza, ice cream at Farrel's). Auntie Claire was always smiling and laughing at the "giggly bobsy twins". And how can I forget Auntie Claire babysitting me when they lived up here for awhile - she would love to tell how she saved me from choking on a marble at Memere's house ("What would I have told my brother when he came to pick you up?"). Auntie Claire was a woman of grace, beauty, class and warmth. Her (&Bob's) love, concern, and generosity towards my dad and mom were always appreciated and will never by forgotten. I hope you all find some comfort in the many loving and happy memories of your wife, mom, and grandmother. Love and prayers to all.

Mr. Hehir, Deb, Susan, Phil and Karen,
Our family wanted you all to know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. We were fortunate enough to have been invited to several family functions where we witnessed first hand how much love there was between Claire and her whole family. I know she felt so much love while she was at hospice. Losing a mother/wife is never easy. We hope that you all can feel the love and support of your many friends and family. God Bless You All........

Dear Uncle Bob, Phil & Cathy, Susan & Geoff, Debbie & Mark, Karen & Rick, & all the grandkids, Auntie Claire was such a special lady. When I think of her, I remember a very classy, warm, elegant, funny, proud & generous person. We had such good times visiting you all as kids in Virginia. I remember the trips to DC, the pool at the club, the pastries and bacon for breakfast, going to mass together, Auntie Claire's laugh, her calling my mom Auntie "Buv", her pride in Uncle Bob's promotions and her kids' accomplishments, and her concern for her little brother, my dad. Her and Bob's concern led to us bringing my dad out to Cleveland Clinic for an evaluation for a new procedure to treat my dad's Parkinson's Disease. I went with my mom & dad and have such good memories of that trip because I really got to visit with Auntie Claire and Uncle Bob and hear all about their life, kids and grandkids & see their home and town. She was such a wonderful hostess and made us feel so welcome. I am sorry that I won't be able to be with you all in Ohio to celebrate Auntie Claire's life and share more memories. Please know that I will be thinking of you and praying for you. My love to you all,

I will always remember Claire as a generous, classy lady. One example was that she always had Susan, Karen & friends (including me!) go have lunch at the country club and put it on her tab. Everytime you saw her she lifted your mood. It was a pleasure to know her and my thoughts & wishes of peace & love are with all the Hehir family at this difficult time.
