Joan Matycznski Obituary

Mrs. Joan F. (Mazgelis) Matycznski, 76, passed away November 13, 2008 at her home surrounded by her family.

She is survived by two sons: Steve Matycznski and his wife Karen of Webster, David Matycznski of Worcester; a grandson, Kaven; also nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and great grandnieces and great grandnephews.

Joan was pre-deceased by her sisters: Rose C. Zereski and Albina "Abbie" Gabriella.

A lifelong resident, born May 27, 1932, a daughter of the late Motiejus and Mikalena (Vilcinskas) Mazgelis. Wife to the late John F. Matyczynski who passed in 1990.

She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church.

Her funeral will be held Monday, November 17th from FAZIO FUNERAL HOME, 9 Branch St. Worcester with a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, Worcester. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, memorial donations may be made in her memory to a charity of your choice. Internment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Monday morning from 9 a.m to 10:30 a.m. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Louis M. Fazio Jr. and Louis M. Fazio III.
