Jean,
I'm so sorry to hear about Jim. What a great guy! I remember him helping me move my piano up a flight of stairs at the Oxhead Tavern back in the 1980s. A true friend with a wonderful sense of humor.

Dear Dahler Family,
We are all so sorry for your loss, although comforted to know that Jim has now been freed from his physical pain. He was such an inspiration to us all. His smile and sparkle remained through the last time I visited with him. He was one of those great treasures.

Jim was a very special man and a wonderful neighbor, starting when he appeared at my front door (with muffins from Jean's restaurant) on the morning after I moved next door.

I loved his generosity and sense of humor and I shall miss him very much.
