George Young Obituary
He leaves one son, Gerald E. Young of San Diego, CA; one daughter, Anne T. Kellicker of Worcester; one granddaughter, Noelle C. Kellicker of Worcester; four brothers and two sisters; also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Born in Castle Hill, Maine, son of John B. and Anastasia (Derosier) Young, and lived in Northborough since 1990 and is formerly of Westborough.
George worked as a chief engineer at Westborough State Hospital for many years retiring in 1990. He was a veteran of the Korean War, served in Germany as a Staff Sergeant in the army.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, November 19th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St. Northborough. George's funeral will be held at 7:00 p.m., at the conclusion of calling hours in the funeral home. Burial will be private. For online condolences or directions, please visit
