Mary Habron Obituary

Mary Louise (Roy) Habron, 45 of Mechanicsville, VA, passed away November 17, 2008 after a long illness.

She is survived by her husband of 14 years, William L. Habron; sons: Michael L. Habron and Thomas E. Habron; her mother, Catalda (D'Ascarnio) Roy of Sterling; her brothers: Mark Roy of Sterling and Paul Roy of Middlebury, CT. She also leaves her uncles: the Reverend Paul A. Roy M.S. of Rome, Italy, Anthony D'Ascanio, Angelo D'Ascanio, and Ralph D'Ascanio, Jr. of Worcester. In addition, she leaves dearly loved nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Her father, Albert E. Roy, predeceased her

Mary Louise was born in Fitchburg and lived there for most of her childhood. She moved to West Boylston and then Sterling, earning an Associate Degree as a radiologic technician at Quinsigamond Community College. She went on to become a registered nurse through the Worcester City Hospital Nursing School in 1991. She was employed in several Worcester hospitals and private medical practices in Massachusetts and Virginia. She also worked as a case manager in the health insurance industry. A memorial service will be held at 11 am, Saturday, November 22, at St. Richard's Church, Bridge Street, Sterling. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.

I worked with Mary several years ago as Home Health Nurses at Meadowbridge Home Health Services in Mechanicsville. She was very caring and truly had a servants heart for her patients. She loved her family very much. My thoughts and prayers are with you. She will be missed.
