George Johnson Obituary

George Harold Johnson, Sr., was released from his pain when he passed the morning of October 29, 2008, on his late wife, Jane J. (Krakowski) Johnson's birthday. Born 6/21/25 in Shrewsbury, MA, a WWII Marine Veteran and Purple Heart recipient, he worked at the E.W. Parks Co., until he retired.

He leaves his eldest son, Walter F. Johnson and his wife Sheila, and their children, Brian, Kari and Alex Johnson, his son, George H. Johnson, Jr. of Worcester, son David R. Johnson and his wife Susan, and their children, Michael and Alyssa Johnson of Dudley, his daughter, Cat Johnson and her fiancee' Daniel Mastromatteo of Auburn, and a granddaughter, Cassandra Mateiko of W.Brookfield. George enjoyed time to himself and fishing. He will be missed and always loved.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main St., Worcester on Friday, November 21, 2008 at 1:00 PM.
