Ioannis Dragoslis Obituary
He leaves his wife of 50 years, Vasiliki (Vozikis) Dragoslis, a son Arthur Dragoslis and his children Koula and Yianna, a daughter Staci Halkiadakis and her husband Vasilios "Bill" and their children Kostas and Yannis, all of West Townsend, a brother, Georgios, and a sister, Aspasia, both of Greece.
Ioannis was born in Iraklia, Greece, son of Athanasios and Anastasia (Kamou) Dragoslis and came to America in 1974 for a better way of life. He owned and operated Central Plaza Pizza in Townsend with his children and grandchildren where he became known as "Mr. John." In his retirement, Ioannis enjoyed traveling to his hometown in Greece. He was an avid Celtics fan and loved his family.
A funeral service will be held at 10 A.M. on Monday, November 24 from Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg in Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church 1319 Main St., Fitchburg. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery in Townsend. Calling hours will be held from 3-6 p.m. on Sunday, November 23 in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the church.
