Francis Biernacki Obituary

Francis John Biernacki, 77, of 3 Pineview Rd, died Saturday, November 22 in Hubbard Regional Hospital TCU after a long illness.

He leaves his wife of 51 years, Irene (Ryzewicz) Biernacki, three children one daughter: Carol and husband Michael Gale of Webster, two sons: Brian Biernacki and wife Lucille of Harrisville, RI, Robert Biernacki and wife Joyce of Thompson, CT, eight grandchildren, Christopher Gale and wife Jillian of Nassau, NY; Melissa Gale of Webster, Andrew, Thomas, Janina and Celina Biernacki of Harrisville, RI; Lauren and Ryan Biernacki of Thompson, CT; two brothers: Raymond Biernacki and wife Nancy of Wells, ME, Richard Biernacki and wife Margaret of Pittsfield, MA, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.

He was born in Webster, the son of Frank and Julia (Marszalkowski) Biernacki. He graduated from Bartlett High school-Class of 1950 He served in the Air Force achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. He worked 35 years at Pratt-Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford retiring as a Quality Revue Inspector in 1991. He was an avid N.Y. Yankees and N.Y. Giants fan. Francis enjoyed golfing and bowling.

His funeral will be held Tuesday Nov. 25 from Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley with a Mass at 10 AM in St. Andrew Bobola Church, 54 West Main St., Dudley. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Garden Of Peace Cemetery, Webster. Calling hours are Monday from 5 to 8 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrew Bobola Renovation Fund 54 PO Box 98, Dudley, MA 01571.
