Steven Patton Obituary
He leaves his companion, Stephanie D'Amato and their son, Steven L. Patton, Jr.; his mother, Elizabeth A. Patton; his brother, Carlton Kemp and his sister, Malika Kemp all of Worcester.
He was born in Worcester and attended South High School. He worked at BFI Company.
Visiting hours will be Thursday, December 4 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 PM in the funeral home. Interment will be in Hope Cemetery. For directions and online condolences please visit

It is still amazing to me that you are really not here Steven. We cant ask how Steven is doing or even ask "has any one talked to 50's big tail??" But like Toya said your not forgotten. Its going on a year now so you know we will all have your memories fresh in our minds, oh boy Steven life really goes on but there are always those moments that you pass through our minds like your still here. Wish I could talk to you again and laugh and joke . I miss you.

WOW... I still cannot believe you are gone. I know your spirit still lives on. I swear sometimes I just know you are around. I will never let go of your memory, I promise you that. I hope to see your son soon so I can share your special qualities and get a glimpse of you through him. You are greatly missed and loved. God Bless your family and all who loved you.

Steven, just wanted to Thank Akua for keeping your memory with us still through this book, she among many loved you. Reading Toya's message made me remember your laugh and your jokes. You are truly missed. I can't help but to say that you went too quick Steven and that I wish you were still here. Wow Steven, I can't believe it's been a month. I still can't believe your gone. I miss you very much, how I wish you were still here. I promise I will keep your memory alive. It's so hard to say good bye. Look down on me. I can go on and on about all the things we used to get into, but only so much time is given. Steve, I can't beleive it man. Life is just too short!!! I just found out last night. We go back to West Side High in Newark, NJ (Da Bricks) We had a lot of fun together man and even though we took different paths into adulthood I'm glad that the Lord gave us the opportunity to be friends. Its funny how we lost touch when you moved back. I used to ask people; Yo when is the last time anyone spoke to Steve. Then I got to speak to you maybe like early November. It was good to hear your voice homie(lol) you calling me fat mouth cuz of my lips and me calling you dragon nose!!!!! Yo man I'm not gonna get to see you again till the after life. WOW here it is 12/09 and for some reason Steven i just can't stop thinking of you. i am laughing here at work of all the things we use to do growing up. I hung a picture of you on my desk and every day i walk in its like your saying good morning blacky cause u always had something smart to say. Through out my day i get butterflys and a warm breeze that will pass me and i cant help but to wonder if thats you allowing me to always know your presense will be with me at all times. Your service was beautiful and there were alot of people there. Nice to know that each one of us will always have a special memory of you and the love you left behind with all of us. Your son now will grow up to leave the same marks on all our hearts and will be reminded of all you use to do. Dame 50 i am sitting like i really miss you.... I just thought it would be nice for me to write to you as i think of you. I will go and visit you real soon to. In the mean time continue to be our angel and watch over all of us. Liz you raised a remarkable son and i am so glad i was able to be great friends with him. You know we all love u to MAMA... god bless all of us

Yo i couldn't believe when i heard that my boy had passed. Me and Steve basically grew up together as kids when i lived over on Providence St. I remember when i saw him a year or two back and we hung out, it was like we never stopped chillin. I'mma miss the kid so much and send blessing to his wifey and little steve. Liz you most of all helped him to be the great person he was. He knew not to slip up or mama was gonna give him a whoopin. He use to get so nervous when he went home late. He use to ask me to walk him but i wouldn't go all the way to the door. Cause everyone knows mama don't play. Well yo, i'm sure all of us have great memories of steve and may all of our thoughts and memories keep him alive forever. R.I.P. Steve c u when i get there. 1

I could remember like it was yesterday when i meet steven on becon st. in worcester ma. were i lived i was 13 yrs old now im 27 dame how time goes by. I hung out with him alot ,good kid, if someone stared problems with me he would have my back no matter what.Now a days you can't find that kind of friendship. Steven my brother from another mother, you will be missed but never forgoten....

your service was beautiful. I am positive it was just the way you would like it. All of your family and friends were in attendance. It surely goes to show just how special you truly are. I was unable to go in front of guest (at the funeral) to speak about how GREAT of a peron you were, but I just want to say, God Bless You always and forever. I will always love you and keep you in my prayers. I will seek after your son. You were so special and big hearted. You put up with alot when it came to me and I thank you for that always and forever. You showed that you really cared and I will never forget you for that. Through it all Steven you were my true boy and I will greatly miss you. We shared some of the best times ever. I love you.
Liz thank you for such a wonderful male, he will be greatly missed. Stephanie, CJ and Maleeka stay strong. Steven Jr. you will always be told special memories about your father, he will forever live on in you.

I'm crying as I write this cause I don't really know what else to do. You know me 50 always trying to make sense out of things but God got me on this one. I haven't really been the one to deal with death well, and to tell you the truth, I know darn well I won't be able to deal with yours. We may not have been as tight since our teenage years but you had a way to make me feel that way. So now I guess I should write down what I will miss, seeing as how we missed our Thanksgiving link up. .....I was supposed to see you Thursday Steven.......Damn .....I'll miss our jokes and rubbin the big 'ol Buddah belly of yours trying to wish for some money!!! Big Steve--u brightened up our work environment day after day here at Protocol. We will miss your big smile, your techno moves and all of the food you brought in to us supervisors when you waltzed in after 9! You will be deaply missed, our thoughts and prayers are with your family. May God bless your son to be the kind of man you were. Also, my thoughts are with your girlfriend in this difficult time, be strong girl. Although it doesnt seem it right now, time will eventually ease the pain. Again to all of his family and friends, sometimes God takes people away from us and there seems to be no rhyme or reason. Remember that you may never know the reason. Every time he came into my store happy day or not he always made me smile. He was a joy to work with no matter the occassion. I am extremely sadden by this loss of laughter and love in these hard days ahead. I'm going to miss having shots with him whenever he came in as well. Stay strong.
