Dennis M. Maynard

Dennis M. Maynard, 49, passed away peacefully November 26, 2008 at home with his family from complications following a recent illness. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Susan M. (Paquin); his daughter, Jess of Sutton; his two sisters, Susan M. Maynard of Norfolk, Judith Cloutier and her husband David of Southbridge; his four brothers, Eli Maynard Jr. of Wrentham, Stephen Maynard of Sutton, Michael W. Maynard and his wife Helen of Whitinsville, Jeffrey S. Maynard of Sutton; five nieces, Amy Morabito, Stephanie Maynard, Melissa Vallee, Michelle Maynard, Abbigail Paquin; one nephew, Richard Paquin; three great nieces, Ricki Maynard, Hailey and Gina Morabito; aunts, an uncle, many cousins including Tiffany Maynard. Dennis was born April 26, 1959 in Whitinsville the son of the late Eli W.F. Maynard and Theresa C. (Castonguay), raised in Sutton and graduated from Sutton High School in 1978. He also attended Blackstone Valley Vocational Technical High School earning certification for his trade. Dennis worked as lead grinder at Wyman Gordon Co. in North Grafton for 30 years and was still employed at the time of his passing. He previously worked as an auto body technician at Millbury Motors and did that work for many friends during his lifetime. He was a member of The United Steelworkers of America Local # 2285 and a Sutton firefighter assigned to Co. 3 in Wilkinsonville.

Funeral & Calling Hours

Funeral services will be Tuesday December 2nd at 10 a.m in Roney Funeral Home North Chapel, 152 Worcester St. in North Grafton. He will then be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in South Grafton.
