Auntie Gail and family,

It took a long time to write this after my Dad's so similar passing, Uncle Don was Dad # 2 for most of my life, from tent city in Twin Mountain to Prudence Island. There are so many good memories that I have shared even now with my family. The world is missing a bright light in it today but Uncle Don has left us with so many wonderful memories. I will miss him.

God Bless You All

Dear Gail, Tim and The Quigley Family
In the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson.
I remember Don..
To laugh often and love much,to win the respect of and the affection of children;to earn the respect of honest critics, and endure the betrayal of false friends;to give of one's self;to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others;to leave the world a better place whether by a healthy child,a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to have played and laughed with enthusiastic exultation;to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived--this is to have succeeded.

Dear "Auntie" Gail & family,
Part of a poem I've read recently said: You can close your eyes and pray that he'll come back, or you can open your eyes and see all he's left.....Don left a lot of wonderful memories. He loved and cherished all of you and will always be in your hearts....
Love to all....

Tim and family,
My memories of your father include; hoop games in your backyard, coney dogs at Pastimes and him on his hands & knees working the St Louis grounds. Whenever I'd run into him, he'd always give me an update on you and your family. He was very proud of you all. I do remember my very last conversation with him and he telling me how lucky a man he was. I'll miss talking to him. Sorry to see him go.

The Quigley Family:
While years have passed, my memories have not. I will always remember Mr. Quigley and his beautiful family. The Boy Scouts and Little League days were a solid foundation to my life. I'm sure Paul and Tim would agree. You have a life time of memories to share. There haven't been too many men better than Mr. Quigley. He will be missed.

To Gail and Family:
With much sadness, I learned of Don's passing. I was actually thinking of Don very recently as I saw a milkman making a delivery to a local store. Many years ago, when I was, as Don called me, A "young whipper snapper",I had the pleasure of working with Don at Gibson's Dairy. Don broke me in on the route. Although Don wore many hat's during his career, I don't recall him not happy or having a bad day. I consider myself fortunate to have met him and learn from him. I am truly sorry for your loss. And ,Don , I am thinking of you. Enjoy Paradise. You earned it!

Mrs. Q and family,

My sympathy and prayers are with all of you during this time of great sadness. Mr.Q was always a ray of sunshine, always a smile on his face no matter how tough the road he traveled was. He will always be in our hearts and watching over all of us with that same smile we all loved. Know it has been an honor to be part of our "neighborhood extended family".

All my prayers and love,

It's been many, many years since I've seen this name. It brought a smile to my face in spite of the sadness his family is experiencing. We had a lot of laughs back in the Army. We were in the Army together about 54 years ago. Although we lived only a few miles away we lost touch with each other. My sympathy to his family and friends.

To Gail and Family,
One or the other must leave
One or the other must stay
That is forever the way
That is the vow that was sworn
Faithful till death do us part
Braving what had to be borne
Hiding the ache in the heart
One who so ever adored
First must be summoned away
That is the will of the Lord
One or the other must stay.

So sorry for all of you. Wish there were words to express my sympathy
