Sophia Kasprzak-Reece Obituary

Sophia L. Kasprzak-Reece, age 92, formerly of West Palm Beach, FL, died Saturday, November 29, 2008, at Millbury Health Care Center.

Her husband, James Reece died in 1991. She leaves two sons, Charles Kasprzak of North Oxford and Robert Kasprzak of Worcester, two daughters, Eleanor Hipson of Highlands Ranch, CO and Charlene Trace of Morrison, CO; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Sophia was born in Boston, daughter of the late Peter and Amelia (Surkont) Makarewicz and lived in West Brookfield before moving to West Palm Beach. She resided in Millbury for the past two years. Sophia loved living in Florida.

There are no calling hours. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Donations in her memory can be made to National Parkinson Foundation, 1501 NW 9th Ave/Bob Hope Rd., Miami, FL 33136. Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, MA is directing arrangements.
