Geraldine Ackerman Obituary
Geraldine is survived by a son, George R. Ackerman of Mount Pleasant, SC; two daughters, Tammy M. Ackerman and Debra A. Ackerman both of Leicester; a brother, Edward J. Dufresne of Sterling and Eastham; two sisters, Shirley E. Marsh of Leicester and Irene M. Berthiaume of Rochdale; two close friends, Ann Cummings and Louise O'Connor both of Leicester and many nephews and nieces.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Edward and Irene (Noe) Dufresne and worked for the Worcester Knitting Company and Eddington Thread before her retirement. Geraldine enjoyed playing bingo, knitting, crocheting and doing crossword puzzles.
A Memorial Mass will be held Today, Monday, December 1st at 11 AM in Saint Pius X Church, 1154 Main St. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
