Josephine Geppert Obituary

Josephine V. (Ankiewicz) Geppert, 99, formerly of Granite St., died Sunday, November 30, in Webster Manor. Her husband, Michael Geppert, died in 1970.

She leaves nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters Mary Krawczyk, Stephanie Mroczek, Genevieve Magnant and Helen Ankiewicz, and her brothers Emil, Ziggy and Walter Ankiewicz.

She was born on January 29, 1909, in Gardner, the daughter of John and Sophie (Zamora) Ankiewicz and lived here since 1937.

Mrs. Geppert was a homemaker. She was a member of Saint Joseph Basilica.

The funeral will be held Wednesday, December 3, from Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb St. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace. A calling period will be from 9:00 to 9:30 AM Wednesday in the funeral home. Donations in her memory may be made to Friends of St. Joseph School Fund, 53 Whitcomb St., Webster, MA 01570.
