Ms. Leland was my first grade teacher a long, long time ago. She was easily one of the most amazing teachers I've ever met. She went above and beyond the call of duty, making sure that I was successful. I have no doubt my success since then (I am a high school social studies teacher of 16 years) is partly due to her. My love of Winnie the Pooh and my dedication to making sure all students feel included and important are Ms. Leland's doing. She'll be missed.

Driane and Jim were neighbors in Princeton and a large part of my childhood as their children and myself were involved with horses. My condolences to the Leland children and their families. May time bring you peace and memories live with you always.
