Charlotte Moore Obituary

Charlotte J. (Pierce) Moore, 87, died Monday, December 1, 2008 in the Overlook Masonic Home. She leaves her husband of 67 years, Reginald K. Moore; a son, Kimball P. Moore of West Brookfield; a niece, Kathy Miller in VT; and a dear cousin Lowell Toof of TN. Charlotte was born in Bethel, VT the daughter of Charles & Mary (Sanders) Pierce and lived and graduated from Springfield High School in Vermont. She was raised in Vermont and lived in Boston and New Hampshire before moving to Fiskdale in 1986. Charlotte worked at Bryant trucking Co. in Vermont and later she owned and operated Moore's Restaurant in Wakefield, New Hampshire.

Following cremation burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Springfield, Vermont. Pillsbury Funeral Home, 163 Main St., Spencer is directing arrangements.

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Our thoughts are with you and your family. Although we did not know her, she must have been a special person. You don't hear that very often of someone being married for 67 years. Sounds like she was very family oriented. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you. Ross and Barb Toof (St. Albans VT.)
