Dorothy Rosen Obituary
She is survived by her daughter, Helen Kotilainen of Bolton; four sons: Michael J. Rosen of Holden, Stephen N. and his wife Barbara J. Rosen of Worcester, Kenneth M. Rosen of Boston and Paul F. Rosen of Worcester; a sister, Kathleen Alex of Fitchburg; and seven grandchildren: Jonathan, Jessica, Andrew, Rebecca, Aaron, Gregory and Hillary.
She was born in Fitchburg, the daughter of John and Nellie (Burke) Alex. Mrs. Rosen was a graduate of St. Bernard High School and had worked as a registered nurse, helping her husband with his medical practice and at Fitchburg General and Burbank Hospitals.
The funeral is Friday, December 5th, from O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Peter's Church, 931 Main Street. Burial will be in St. Leo's Cemetery, Leominster. Calling hours are Thursday, December 4th from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Church, 929 Main Street, Worcester, MA 01610 or to the Massachusetts Special Olympics, 450 Maple Street, Danvers, MA 01923 oconnorbrothers.com
