Lillian Raymond Obituary

Lillian Raymond, 81, of 63 School Street, died on Tuesday, November 25, 2008, in University of Massachusetts Hospital, Worcester, after an illness.

She leaves her two brothers: Normand E. Raymond and his wife, Isabelle M. (Parmenter) Raymond, of Auburn and Roger M. Raymond and his wife, Betty-Lou (Pettis) Raymond, of Sutton; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. She was born in Manchester, NH, on October 8, 1927, daughter of the late Celestin P. "Frenchy" and Yvonne V. (Vaillancourt) Raymond, and lived for most of her life in Millbury before moving to Northbridge in 1987.

Miss Raymond was a Nurse's Aide for many years at the former Pine Grove Villa, Millbury, before her retirement. Before that, she was a battery operator at the former Fisher Manufacturing Co., South Grafton.

She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Parish and she enjoyed knitting and playing cards.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Saturday, December 6, in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 39 Church Ave. Burial in St. Brigid Cemetery, Millbury, will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, P.O. Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202.
