Warren Swenson Obituary

Warren A. Swenson, 91, of Charlton, formerly of Holden, died peacefully Monday, December 1, 2008 at Harrington Memorial Hospital, Southbridge. He was married to Nina Weir Swenson for 53 years. She predeceased him in November 1994. A brother, Stanley Swenson predeceased him in 2005. Mr. Swenson worked many years for Norton Company.

He will be missed by many including Mr. and Mrs. Paul Anderson of Jacksonville, FL, Mrs. Evelyn Hamilton of Millbury, MA, and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Weir of Northboro, MA. He leaves many nieces and nephews. Especially close to him were nieces Sandra Bell of Lake Placid, FL, Lynda Smith of Charlton, MA, Barbra Riley of Jacksonville, FL, Nancy Cantwell of Worcester, MA and Sharon Katz of Spencer, MA.

The funeral will be held on Fri. Dec. 5 at 11:00 a.m. in the NORDGREN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 300 Lincoln Street. Calling hours will be held before the funeral from 10.00 to 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
