Marija Tonesvki Obituary
She leaves her husband of 59 years, Jovan Tonevski; two daughters, Niki Chevrevski and her husband Dobre of Wells, ME and Ruli (Zaharia) Trajanovski and her husband, Alex of Boylston; two sons, Leo and his wife Tina Tonevski of Holden and George "Yorgo" Tonevski of Worcester; a sister, Vasilka Lazaroff of Akron, OH; 10 grandchildren, 2 great-granddaughters; and many nephew and nieces.
She was born in Prilep, Macedonia the daughter of Donka and Petre Sekulovski; and immigrated to the United States with her family in 1969. Marija was a hardworking and caring woman who greatly loved her family. She spent many years happily gardening, cooking, knitting, taking care of her grandchildren and most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren.
The funeral is Monday, December 8th with a service at 11:00 AM in St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 34 Gold Street, Shrewsbury. Calling hours are Sunday, December 7th from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. A Trisagion service will be held at 6:00 PM during the calling hours. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 34 Gold Street, Shrewsbury, MA 01545.

Dearest Nikki and Alex,
We wish to express our sincere heartfelt sympathy, for your loss of Marija. For so many years, she enjoyed watching over Margie and Elizabeth, and more recently Sasha and Nicole. Now she has been called to God; she is gracing the heavens with little William, in eternal loves embrace. You are in are thoughts and prayers.
