Aphrodite Bilis

Aphrodite (Milios) Billis, 79, of Lelandville Rd., Charlton, formerly of Dudley, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2008, peacefully at home. Her husband of 47 years, George A. Bilis died in 1999. Mrs. Bilis leaves behind five childrem Charles Bilis of Barton, VT, John and Arthur Bilis of Dudley, Tina Sullivan of Charlton with whom she made her home, and Evelyn Lefco of Hope Sound, FLA. She also leaves 9 grandchildren, two brothers, Demetrios and Vasilios Milios of Webster and two sisters, Sophia Antoniou and Perephoni Sgouritsas of Webster and many nieces and bnephews. She was born in Lescovici, Albania, daughter of John and Efgenia (Karagiannis) Milios and has been here many years. Mrs. Bilis worked for over 20 years at the former Anglo Fabrics Co. in Webster and retired 20 years ago. She was a member of Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Webster and the Ladied Philoptochos Society. The funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 9, 2008 in Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 37 Lake Parkway. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday, December 8, 2008 form 4 to 7 p.m. at the Robert J. Miller Funeral Home and Lake Chapel, 366 School St., Webster. A Trisagion service will be at 6:00 P.M. Monday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Sts.
