John Faron Obituary

John E. Faron, 79, of Worcester died on Tuesday, December 9, at his home after an illness.

Mr. Faron is survived by three daughters, Sharon Zapasnik and Donna Bouffard both of Worcester, and Judith Dupont of Missouri; and two sisters, Mary Houston and Dorothy Dunnebier both of Florida.

He was born in Framingham, son of the late Joseph and Helen (White) Faron, and is predeceased by two sons, John and Thomas Faron, and a brother Joseph Faron. John worked as a laborer in the construction industry for many years before his retirement. He is also a veteran of the United States Navy and served during WWII and the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Faron enjoyed talking day trips to the casino and dog racing.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 11th from 5 to 7 PM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond Street. Burial will be at a later date in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. The family requests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the VA Boston Health Care System Attn: Volunteer Services West Roxbury Campus, 1400 VFW Pkwy, West Roxbury, MA 02132.
