Dennis Quy Obituary

Dennis C. Quy, 84, of 42 Clark St. in the Rochdale section of Leicester, died Sunday, Dec. 7 at The Meadows of Leicester. He was the husband of Doreen A. (Arnold) Quy who died in 1997.

He leaves a son, John A. Quy and his wife Earle of Lansing, N.C; a daughter, Wendy Quy-Hicks and her husband Walter of Rochdale; a grandson, Ryan Quy and his wife Stephanie of Denver, CO; granddaughters, Samantha Thacker of Rochdale and Tammy Beland of Denver; her son in law, Chic Beland of Worcester. Predeceased by his daughter Sandra Quy-Beland.

Mr. Quy worked at Robert Hall Clothes in Worcester for many years then worked in retail management in Texas, before retiring in 1998. He served with the Royal Navy in England during WWII. Born in Ilford, Essex, England, he was the son of Charles Guyon and Kate Selina (Floyd) Quy.

Family and friends are all invited to attend a celebration of Dennis' life at Hillcrest C.C., 325 Pleasant St., Leicester on Saturday, Dec. 13 from 1 to 4 p.m. Please omit flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, Ma. 01701. MORIN-MORRISON FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester is directing arrangements.
