I am visiting my Mother at the Eisernberg, for the holidays. I learned of your Father's death. The place is not the same without him. My Mother told me that she was very sad and cried when she learned the news. I know how devoted you were to your Father. My condolences to you. Anne-Marie Bliss

Dear Doug,
We just learned of your loss. Your Dad was a gentleman and Karen and I, along with my mother, enjoyed getting to know him at the Eisenberg. We always knew we'd get a warm and firm handshake and a hug from him.

Dear Doug,
We haven't seen each other in so many years but I do have such fond memories of you, your MOM and your DAD. Your Mom and Dad were such good and longtime friends to my Mom(Nancy) and Dad(Gordon). Please accept my sympathies at your loss.

Dear Doug,
Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I got to know your parents while working at the United Methodist Church of Spencer and loved them both.

John was my favorite uncle. His sense of humor, quick wit and twinkling eyes warmed many hearts. I have very fond memories of sitting on the porch in Millinocket, Me late into the evening listening to John, Ruth and my grandmother Grace talking about Sherman and life of years gone by. John is missed and will be a part of the McLean family forever in our hearts. Rest in peace Uncle John...we love you.
