Pauline Early Obituary

Pauline E. (Stone) Early, 85, of 50 Chapel St. in the Cherry Valley section of Leicester, died Saturday, Dec. 13 at Life Care Center of Auburn.

She was the wife of George F. Early who died in 1997. She leaves her son, George Parkin, Sr. and his fiance Carolyn Wood of Cherry Valley; five daughters, Pauline Veroneau and her husband David of Coosby, Ore., Winifred Johnson and her husband Edwin of Spencer, Jacklynn Howard and her husband Donald of Spencer, Jane Desrosiers-Imbody and her husband Leonard of Cherry Valley, and Dorothy Grenon of Auburn; a sister, Jane Kibby of Fargo, Fl., 16 grand, 26 great grand and 11 great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a daughter, Kathleen Early of Upton in 1954, and brothers George, Steven, Leroy and Robert Stone and a sister, Dorothy Cocker.

Pauline was an avid BINGO player, enjoyed crossword puzzles and playing cribbage.

Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Theodore and Jane E. (Sweeney) Stone and lived in No. Brookfield, before moving here in 1964.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 17 at 10 a.m. in the MORIN-MORRISON FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Tuesday, Dec. 16 from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Mercy Center, 25 Westchester St., Worcester, 01605.
