Dearest (((((Bob, Kathy & Renee))))),
I am so very sorry to read of the death of your beautiful, beloved daughter Ashley…please accept my deepest condolences. I too am a bereaved parent. I also know that Ashley will ALWAYS be in the hearts of so many she touched in her short life.
There are no words that can help ease your pain related to this tragic event in your lives, just know that we care and understand. I pray that you find the peace and comfort in the happy memories of your beloved daughter Ashley’s life.
For me to tell you that you will feel like you did before this tragedy would be a lie. Each of us handles our grief differently. The tragic death of your daughter will forever change your life. My only advice is to take one moment at a time, ride the waves of grief and devastation as they approach and don’t be afraid to express your feelings. No matter what they may be.
I truly understand how having a daughter die can change your life. My 11 year old daughter, Danielle Marie was killed in a terrible auto accident in Massachusetts in February of 2006. She died of a massive head injury at the scene of the accident.
Bob, Kathy & Renee, you, your beloved daughter, Ashley and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers for continuous strength and comfort each day.

With deepest sorrow,
John

Kathy,
Barely three weeks ago, we sat at Rectory waiting for that last exam to finish, and I was lucky enough to learn more about Ashley and the miracle that she was. It was quite a shock to hear that she is now an angel watching over us. Accept my sincerest sympathies and comfort in the fact that she is in greener pastures now. Her and your examples in life are rare gems, and thank you for sharing them with the rest of the world.
Sincerely, Lynn Burdick

Ashley
When I remember you
I hold close your twinkling eyes
Bright smile
Quiet joyful sounds of glee

Purple
shades of violet from head to toe
styling and smiling everyday
Sweet Ashley
So many memories
float through my thoughts.

First grade through Fifth
I was fortunate to enjoy time with you.
Yes, we stuck your tiny fingers into paint, glue, clay and fabrics
You would let us know what you liked and what you did not.
A smile, a giggle,or a frown
Mrs. Bea and I would think of a new way to turn the frown upside down.
Your friends at Sutton Elementary hold you close in their hearts.
HUGS!
