H. Fitch Obituary

H. Audrey Fitch, 80, of Shrewsbury, died Tuesday in St. Vincent's Hospital after a short illness.

She is survived by her husband, Charles G. Fitch, Jr.; a son, Robert E. Fitch, of Gloucester; a son, David J. Fitch and his wife Sandy of Framingham; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A son, Charles G. Fitch, III, predeceased her.

She was born in Quincy; she was the daughter of the late Edward B. and Katherine (Silva) Curry. Mrs. Fitch worked as a medical secretary for many years. She attended Mt. St. Mary's College. Mrs. Fitch loved the beach; she spent many summers at Rocky Nook. She enjoyed travel, and was an avid painter, she volunteered for AARP.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday June 18, 2009 from 5-8 PM. Her funeral service will be held Friday at 10 AM in the Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main St. Shrewsbury. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
