Lynda Pratte Obituary

Lynda M. (Bergstrom) Pratte, 60, of Birchwood Drive, died Thursday, June 11 at home with her husband by her side after a courageous battle with cancer.

Lynda is survived by her husband, Stephen Pratte, her daughter, Dianna LaPlume of Worcester, a granddaughter, Samantha LaPlume and many friends and family members. She was predeceased by a son, Robert LaPlume.

Lynda was born in Worcester on Oct. 8, 1948, her father and mother were the late Lewis and Rita Bergstrom, both of Worcester.

She was a graduate of Fanning Trade High School in Worcester. Lynda worked at Honeywell, Coghlin Electrical, Columbia Tech and also worked as a Home Health Aide for Home Staffing.

Lynda was a member of the Women's Auxiliary, Eagles Club 334 in Southbridge. Lynda's passions were her family, friends, cats, rock concerts, hiking, hunting, camping and her loving husband.

Her family would like to thank our neighbors, friends, UMass Memorial Hospice for their care, understanding and support.

The family will be gathering at the Southbridge Eagle's Club, 59 Mill St., Southbridge on Sat. June 27th at 2 pm. to celebrate Lynda's life accomplishments. Please join us.
