David Birtz Obituary

David B. Birtz, 61, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, June 19.

He leaves his brother, Stephen P. and his wife, JoAnn Birtz of N. Grafton and his sister, Sandra B. Evans of Whitinsville. He also leaves many nieces, nephews and three great nephews.

He was born in Worcester the son of Bennett B. and Mary A. (Pellegrini) Birtz and graduated from Grafton High School and attended Worcester Junior College. David served with the Navy during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed art, camping, fishing, photography and spending time with his family.

David's funeral Mass will be Tuesday, June 23 at 10:00 AM at St. Catherine of Sweden Church, 1 Wiser Ave. Interment will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no visiting hours. Arrangements are under the care of LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler St.,Worcester. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans, P.O. To David's family,
I was a waitress at the Grafton Street Friendlys for 10 years. It was my pleasure to get Dave his coffee every day when he came in. Such a sweet and gentle soul. I have thought of him to this day. I am sorry for your loss.
