Marion Gauthier Obituary

Marion A. (Duffy) Gauthier, 100, formerly of Falcon St., passed away Fri., Aug. 24. Her husband, Antonio J. Gauthier, passed away in 1982.

She leaves a daughter, Shirley M. Brindisi of Worcester; a sister, Dorothy O'Leary of Rondondo Beach, CA; two nephews, Paul Duffy of Worcester and John Duffy of Rockport; a niece, Dorothy Wall of Worcester; eight grandchildren, Patricia Doherty and her husband John of Oxford, Dominic Brindisi and his wife Rosann of Worcester, Deborah Brindisi of Worcester, Nancy Brown and her husband William of Oxford, Robert Brindisi and his wife Linda of Worcester, Susan Brindisi of Auburn, James Brindisi and his wife Deborah of West Boylston and Lynn Penny of Chicopee; twenty-six great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Several brothers and sisters predeceased her.

Marion was born in Worcester, the daughter of Edward and Katherine (Ward) Duffy. She was a former member of Our Lady of the Angels Church.

The funeral will be Monday, August 27 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 11:30 AM at St. Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln St. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery. A visiting hour will be Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. For directions or online guest book please visit

My deepest sympathy goes to the family. Marion, will be missed by many of you but her memories will always be with us. I only new her for a short time, but she game me a lot of laughs and many funny memories.
